ILLUTHERM on the international stage

After ILLUTHERM successfully made it into the top 20 and thus into the semi-finals of the international start-up competition Slush100, the big day arrived on November 19, 2025: Co-founder and CEO Lukas Porz was given the opportunity to pitch ILLUTHERM to an international audience and jury at the Slush event.

Even though we didn’t make it to the finals, it was a unique experience. Apart from the competition, Slush is a unique opportunity to network with international start-ups and investors.

The Slush 100 competition is considered one of the world’s most coveted platforms for young technology companies. Participants go through several selection rounds: starting with the top 100, then the top 50, followed by the top 20 (semi-finals), from which the top 3 finally pitch for the win in the final.
As part of Slush 100, the selected start-ups receive access to an investment prize of €1 million from Cherry Ventures and General Catalyst, as well as mentoring.
